Staff

	Sam & Janel Meza - Sr. Pastor Sam Meza has been the lead pastor for Living Hope Community for 31 years. His role as lead pastor is to provide leadership for all the functioning systems and teams within the congregation. His primary task, however, is to pray, cast vision, and prepare the Word of God with clarity and relevance. Janel Meza had been married to Sam for over 30 years, but that’s not her claim to fame. Janel is a multi-talented woman of faith in her own right, with a passion to see people grow in Christ. In combination with her role as lead pastor along side of her husband, Janel has leadership oversight of the Evangelism team, Woman’s ministry, and she is a member of the Children’s ministry team.

	Rudy & Annette Trujillo - Associate Pastors/Missions & Evangelism Rudy Trujillo is our Assistant Pastor with primary leadership over community concerns and community development. God has given Pastor Rudy favor with city officials, and the business community. He has a heartfelt passion to see God’s love spread through every facet of city life. Pastor Rudy’s motto: “Is to share the love of God “across the street and across the world.”

	Brian Meza - Associate Pastor/Emerging Generation Brian Meza is a young pastor with a radical vision to reach young people for Jesus. He has primary leadership over the Emerging Generation team. This EM team of 18-25 year olds is developing their own “church with in a church.” Brian also has leadership oversight of multi-media, after school Hope Academy, and all the bridge events related to our new theater.

	John & Genevieve Cedillo - Pastors / Care & Connection John and Genevieve is another dynamic couple who have a passion to see new first, second and third time visitors bond into the life of the church. Their primary leadership assignment is over the Connection ministry team. Their desire is to make sure that every visitor feels loved and accepted, to make sure visitors feel loved beyond their visit, and to close the back door.

	Jamie Jones - Worship Leader Jamie Jones is a man who truly loves to sing and worship God through song. Jamie is a member of the Grammy Award wining musical group “All for One.” His primary leadership assignment is to lead worship and praise in our Sunday celebration. We are honored to have such a vibrant and anointed man leading our people into the presence of God.

	Oskar Cartaya - Musical Director Oscar Cartaya is another talented man and one of the premier bass players and musical directors in the country. Oscar’s primary oversight is the musical arrangement for all our worship songs and our future videos and CD’s. He has a sincere love for God; love for his craft, and to see people from every background in life blessed by the gift of music.

	Armando Mellone - CFO Armando Mellone is our CFO responsible for the financial and business transactions of our ministry. Armando has been instrumental in providing the securing of finances for our new building. His primary leadership role has been to oversee the renovation project of our new theater. He continues to serve God and this ministry with excellence.

	Lyle & Jean Mata - Pastors / Care & Connection Lyle and Jean Mata is a husband and wife team that has a deep love for people. Their primary leadership assignment is over the Care ministry team. The Care ministry is an integral part of our ministry because it addresses the need to serve “one another in love” a requirement for all New Testament Christians. Their motto: “To intentionally care for and support all church members helping to build strong authentic interpersonal relationships.”

	Trina Darakjy - Administrator Trina Darakjy serves as administrator in finances and calendar organization. Trina has a background in accounting and departmental organization. We are blessed to have such an organized and gifted administrator.

	Discipleship Team Disciples Team has been developed to equip our congregation in the formation of discipleship fand ministry which we call the “Voyage.” Voyage is a comprehensive discipleship course that covers all facets of growing in the knowledge of Christ. We are changing the culture of our church, eventually; we want to have teams for every ministry in our church.
